APROCOMSA

The Asociacion de Productores COMSA (APROCOMSA) is the producer association of Cafe Organico Marcala S.A. (COMSA). In 2023, COMSA formalized and incorporated its producers into a democratically governed association to ensure transparency, traceability, and organizational governance, as well as to meet Fair Trade certification requirements.

APROCOMSA includes both shareholding and non-shareholding members of COMSA. While legally independent, the association is deeply integrated with COMSA’s operations. Following this organizational shift, COMSA now functions as the exporter, commercializer, dry mill, and service provider for green coffee exports. APROCOMSA, in turn, serves as the producer body responsible for cultivating, collecting, and processing washed and honey parchment, as well as natural coffees..
